Blockchain R&D Hub and PwC Armenia presented the blockchain opportunities for Armenia

On the 19th of December, a Blockchain Overview event was held by PwC. The goal was to bring together a diverse range of international and local investors, executives and shareholders from leading IT companies, professionals from banking and consulting industries, blockchain enthusiasts and developers to discuss blockchain and cryptocurrency use cases, the regulatory environment, technology hurdles and opportunities in innovation and disruption that can be leveraged using this technology.

Managing Director of PwC Armenia and Tax & Advisory Director of PwC Kazakhstan delivered a keynote speech, thus officially opening the conference. Gagik Yeghiazarian, the Co-Founder and CEO of Blockchain R&D Hub, and Arman Aleksanian, Co-Founder and CINO of Blockchain R&D Hub, presented the Blockchain opportunities for Armenia, and also took part in panel discussion afterwards along with Dr. Aram Hajian, Dean and Associate Professor from American University of Armenia, and directors and chief representatives from leading IT companies.

The final chord of the conference was the networking session, which was full of prospective meetings, questions and discussions.

The next step for Blockchain R&D Hub is to share its vision in Blockchain conference to be organized in Yerevan with PwC focused on fintech and banking industry.
