Blockchain family is growing, Bratislava welcomes Blockchain R&D Hub

Blockchain family is growing, Bratislava welcomes Blockchain R&D Hub

On 29th November, DECENT team gratefully welcomed new addition to Blockchain R&D Hub portfolio, brand-new offices in Bratislava’s business incubator, 0100 Campus.

Marek Zamecnik, the co-founder of 0100 Campus, joyously pointed out that he’s “proud of our accomplishment, especially for hosting Blockchain R&D Hub right in the premises of 0100 Campus, the melting pot of big ideas and creativity.”

This special occasion took place thanks to Matej Michalko, CEO of DECENT and CEO of Blockchain R&D Hub, Gagik Yeghiazarian, who flew to Bratislava from Yerevan to open the Blockchain R&D Hub in Bratislava.

The aforementioned 0100 Campus is part of 0100 Ventures, a company aimed for supporting startups, entrepreneurial community or individuals with open-office spaces in Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava. Matej Michalko, co-founder and CEO of DECENTcommented on the inclusion as follows: “Presence of BRnDH puts Slovakia on the global map of startups and innovation through Blockchain.”

Adding a new blockchain-specific company alongside DECENT, Bratislava surely makes a huge step in a direction of developing and supporting a blockchain revolution. Not to mention established companies willing to reconfigure the way they undergo operations by implementing progressive technologies, like smart contracts, e-wallets, or cryptosecurity mechanisms.

Slovak startups have now an opportunity to join the blockchain ecosystem and, hopefully, discover its potential. To some extent and in this regard, DECENT should inspire others. We ought to show other emerging brands the obvious benefits of blockchain technology, not just in terms of security measures, but in transparency and next gen character of services.

As Matej Michalko mentioned, Slovakia’s now the part of international community of Blockchain R&D Hubs. It joined prestigious group, that includes upcoming hubs in China and USA.
