DECENT is building its global community

DECENT is building its global community

DECENT’s position in the world of blockchain-based companies can be summed up by two words – global reach. Even though, DECENT’s birth could be dated just over a year ago,  operating offices in Europe and Asia allow us to call our service an international network.

Each of the offices in Slovakia, Armenia and China has its set of duties and responsibilities necessary to support blockchain technology adoption in the region.

Let’s have a look into each region!

Armenia
The Blockchain Research and Development Hub is DECENT’s technology arm recently founded in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan, also known as the Silicon Valley of Transcaucasia. Led by Gagik Yeghiazarian and Arman Aleksanian, acclaimed personalities in the field of media communication and software development, Blockchain R&D Hub functions as a lead developer and supporter of DECENT’s core platform, DECENT’s OTT (over-the-top) applications and various websites.

In addition, they’re managing the extended revision of the official DECENT website, backend and design, as well as continuously providing maintenance.

China
Set in Lujiazui area of Shanghai, JadeValue offices serve as a fintech incubator for other companies and startups and provide management training or office spaces. The goal of DECENT in Shanghai is to serve as an outreach platform. To gain a firm ground on the Chinese fintech market, a collaboration with companies that share common goals needs to be established. Thanks to JadeValue, our position within a highly competitive blockchain ecosystem of East Asia will strengthen.

Lately, DECENT’s activity aimed for gaining visibility in China resulted in partnerships with Beijing Fastweb, the largest Internet provider in China; Aikxian, a streaming service; and Hackereum project, a crowd penetration and exchange platform.

Slovakia
Bratislava is center of our operations, where co-founders, Matej Michalko and Matej Boda, with chief software architect Josef Sevcik oversee the stages of network development, plan projects and manage finances. Right here, the foundations of DECENT Network were built and here the blockchain principle for distribution purposes came to fruition.

Since then, we managed to held the ICO to a very positive outcome, toured China coastline and launched demo of our first ever application, DECENT blogging platform, thanks to help from Yerevan’s R&D Hub.

On 29th November, new Blockchain R&D Hub opened in Bratislava’s 0100 Campus, thanks to the effort of  Hub’s CEO, Armenian entrepreneur Gagik Yeghiazarian and co-founder and CEO of DECENT, Matej Michalko making Slovakia the prominent blockchain research and development facility in the region.

In the next years, we plan to expand our enterprise even further and bring innovation to creative and distribution industry. We hope you’ll be with us by then.
